New Nittan Features
Smoke Sensing
Improvements include the use of Nittan’s “PY” smoke sensing chamber and microprocessor control, with smoke detection that includes a spherical feature within the smoke chamber providing unrivalled performance for scattering light, including orange LED to enhance response across the fire range, providing five EN54:7 certified sensitivity settings.
Minimising Risk
Dirt, dust and insects pose a risk of entering fire systems, potentially causing false alarms. For this reason, Nittan have created a chamber structure using a stainless steel, lightweight micromesh to minimise contamination and prevent insects from entering the system.
Additional Settings
The EV-H2-SCI Heat Detector model provides EN 54:5 Heat Category P compliance with the ability to be programmed to four different settings: A1R, A2S, BS, and CS.
The EV-PYH-SCI Smoke/Heat detector has the four Category P settings (A1R, A2S, BS, and CS), plus an additional setting for a combined smoke heat model, certified to EN 54 part 29 for multi-sensors.
Bi-Derectional Isolator
The Short Circuit Isolator is two directional, as a precaution in the event of an external fault, to shut down on one side in order to protect the system, whilst continuing to communicate with the fire alarm panel on the opposite side. The isolator possesses a low internal resistance (Zcmax) of less than 50mΩ and will self-reset when the fault is cleared.
Nittan Full Range
Non-isolator variants are compatible with older Evolution models, providing seamless support on existing sites.

Single Loop Fire Alarm Control Panel
The control panel offers complete compatibility with the Nittan detection and alarm devices. Its user-friendly touch screen provides ease of use, whilst the unobtrusive enclosure ensures that the panel fits in with any environment whilst being easily accessible for installers, should they need to maintain the system. The panel can be used as stand alone or in a network or up to 16 panels.
Addressable Optical and Heat Sensor Detectors
We stock a range of Nittan sensors, including the Evolution PYH addressable optical and heat multi-sensor detector. The “Category P” multi-sensor detector centres on a new “PY” smoke sensing chamber, providing performance for scattering light, improving response across the fire spectrum. It includes a short circuit isolator that protects the system in the event of fire.
Small Install Kits
The Nittan Evolution install kits come with a selection of components to create a simple fire alarm system. Available in two variants, the kit includes a control panel, a varying number of manual call points, smoke detectors and sounders, and standard detector bases. Alone, the kit can be used to create a small system, or can be used to create a core with additional devices from the Nittan Evolution range.
Outdoor Manual Call Points
We stock a range of manual call points from Nittan, including the Evolution Addressable Outdoor Manual Call Point. This call point is IP67 rated, with DIL switch and M20 threads for ease of installation. An optional short circuit isolator is also available on this call point.
