Lexicomm ViLX-Commander Assist Call Master Station

Summary

Lexicomm Commander is a PC GUI which is compatible with the Lexicomm Network EVC system.

LX-Commander is a replica of the master station (which still must be fitted) and allows hi-resolution maps or graphical representations to be displayed with buttons overlaid representing the EVCS outstations. Area buttons allow screens to be linked enabling overview and zoom screens to be quickly implemented.

The application contains full editing capabilities which are password protected, enabling the engineer or user to make changes.

Lexicomm Commander is a very intuitive interface for the EVCS, the use of familiar plans or pictures of the building saves time and reduces training.

Operation

When a call comes in, LX-Commander switches to the area showing the outstation automatically, if more calls come in they are displayed in the action box on the right hand side of the screen.

Similarly, Emergency Assist Alarms switch to the screen with the call on, then you can accept the call (BS8300) while its being investigated, letting the person in the toilet or bedroom know help is on the way.

The action box on the right allows access to a complete call log, fault log and event log, as well as a call directory allowing you to call any refuge point on the system.

A login is optionally required for user access, allowing the screen to be secured if on display to the public.

An Engineer login is also available allowing full access to the inbuilt editor functions, allowing simple maintenance, and configuration of the screen within the application.

The application supports multiple screens, and each outstation can exist on multiple screens, with one being selected as the go to screen when a call come in from that outstation.

Switching between views is easy as well, with area buttons which can be added to any screen.
