Summary
The C-Tec CAST Input Output Module is a LPCB and Kiwa Telefication certified device that combines the functions of a switch monitor, zone monitor, and output unit for fire alarm systems.
Features
- It can monitor up to 20 conventional detectors, 10 manual call points, and any normally open switch with an EOL resistor or a simple normally open or closed switch
- It incorporates an onboard short-circuit loop isolator and has a low typical alarm current of 5.5mA (1.3mA quiescent) at 22-40V DC
- It can switch 1A@30V DC (or 0.3A@125V AC) and includes volt-free changeover contacts for triggering devices like roller-shutter doors, gas shut-off valves, and smoke vents
