Summary
There are 6 different Fyreye detector bases available for the conventional range of detectors namely common base, diode base and relay base.
The Relay base is mainly used on 12V security systems to signal detector operation to the panel. They can also be used on 24V fire systems where the activation of a particular detector requires a signal to nearby equipment (door holders for example). When using a relay base, DO NOT CONNECT A REMOTE LED. The detector cannot sink enough current to operate both.
