Summary
Orbis IS Optical Smoke Detectors are recommend for use as general purpose smoke detectors and are particularly suitable for smouldering fires. This optical smoke detector is equally as good in black smoke as it is in white smoke and is designed to significantly reduce the risk of false alarms through over-sensitivity to transient phenomena.
Please note, all Orbis Intrinsically Safe Detectors require an Orbis Intrinsically Safe Base in order to be mounted.
