Summary
Orbis Marine Conventional Fire Detectors offer a multitude of features to save time, enhance reliability and reduce false alarms within the marine environment.
Like all of the Orbis Marine range of smoke and heat detectors, the Orbis Marine Heat Detector is approved for use in marine applications. Orbis Marine products operate in the same way as standard devices but are subject to additional approvals and test specific to the marine environment.
The Orbis Marine Heat Detector uses a single thermistor to sense the temperature around the detector. We have 6 detectors available from the Orbis Marine range designed to suit a variety of operating conditions:
- Orbis Marine Class A1R Heat Detector
- Orbis Marine Class A2S Heat Detector
- Orbis Marine Class BR Heat Detector
- Orbis Marine Class BS Heat Detector
- Orbis Marine Class CR Heat Detector
- Orbis Marine Class CS Heat Detector
Please select the required variation from the drop-down list above.
Please note, all Orbis Marine Detectors require an Orbis Marine Base in order to be mounted.
Approvals
Orbis marine detectors are approved by the following bodies:
- Lloyd’s Register of Shipping
- Maritime and Coastguard Agency
- American Bureau of Shipping
- Bureau Veritas
- Det Norske Veritas
