Smoke Sabre is a new aerosol smoke detector tester which overcomes some of the drawbacks of conventional smoke detector testers. The Smoke Sabre utilises an extending sabre which prevents the spray from being activated unless it is full extended ensuring that a suitable distance is present between the spray and detector to prevent harmful residue being left on detector (a common issue from the misuse of aerosol detector testers).
The Smoke Sabre delivers more tests per can which inherently leads to a lower cost per test. This is achieved by holes which are present in the sabre through which air is drawn in which helps the speed and vaporisation of the smoke particles as they move towards the detector. This results in increased efficiency with better detector activation which requires less gas per test.
The range of particles (0.0001-100µm) makes the Smoke Sabre a universal smoke detector tester suitable for all types of smoke detectors. It is a UL listed product which meets international standards.
Environmental consideration are also adhered to as the Smoke Sabre facilitates silicon free testing and the sabre itself is constructed from 100% biodegradable materials.
